There are several options that Lone Star College offers to help students increase their study and test-taking skills.
- Reach out to the Office of Student Success & Completion and their staff can direct you to resources at your home campus.
- Reach out to your Academic Advisor at your home campus - your advisor can provide guidance to people and services at your home campus to help you build your test-taking skills and develop good study habits.
- Check out the Learning Express library, available to LSC students through the library's Research Databases collection - Learning Express is a good, self-paced source for test preparation, skill building, and career resources. (Note: if you are accessing the databases off-campus, you may be asked to authenticate using your LSC credentials.)
- These study aids have been compiled to assist you and provide advice on developing study skills and dealing with test anxiety.
