Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

Overdue fines for Lone Star College library materials are charged based on the type of item borrowed:

• Standard library materials: $.25 per day per item, up to a $3 maximum per item
• Two-hour reserve materials: $.50 per hour, up to a $6 maximum
• One-, two-, and three-day reserve materials: $1 per day, up to a $6 maximum

Fines may be paid at any Lone Star College library location.

Patrons are responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen materials. Additional charges may include replacement costs and any accumulated fines. Circulation Guidelines can be found on our website: Circulation
