Question

Is the Library open to the community?

Answer

Yes, all of the LSC Libraries are open to the community. You do not need to be a student to visit the library, but some services may be restricted to LSC students.

While most of our locations are academic libraries, with resources and services focused on curriculum and student support, guests may borrow library materials using an HCPL or MCML public library card or apply for a guest pass to use the computers and printers in the libraries.

LSC-CyFair Library and LSC-Tomball Library are joint-use libraries, serving as both Lone Star College Libraries and as branches of Harris County Public Library system, and will offer more of the programming, services, and resources expected at a public library such as children's collections and popular fiction books.
