Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

Reasons you may not be able to access a library database include:

• We do not subscribe to that database.  Please see the current list of available databases in our A-Z listing. We may not currently subscribe to the resource you are trying to access. You may be able to get access to the resource through an interlibrary loan (ILL).
• You are not affiliated with Lone Star College.  Current students, faculty, and staff may access the library databases. If you are not affiliated with Lone Star College, you may access the databases in one of our computer labs by requesting library patron or temporary guest access. 
• Off campus access:  If you are off campus, you must first sign in using your Lone Star College ID and password. For help resetting your password, contact the Office of Technology Services (OTS).
